MMVA! | June 19th

The event we've been talking about since back in December... Much Music Video Awards! We always knew that since it was our senior year, we had to go all out with all kinds of events. We started heading downtown after our dance recital and arrived around 5pm. Because we were in need of a washroom and something to chew on we made a stop at Teashop168. Checked in and dived into the crowd.

We were quite noob at this at first and didn't know where to go. Looking at the huge empty stage with milk cartons and afterparty flyers, we were just KIND of lost. But being the adventurous us, we didn't want to stand there for 4 hours before the show began, so we attempted to look for the red carpet. That was the whole point of going to MMVAs anyways. Then, it was like war, digging through mountains of people. We were close enough to see bits of the red carpet and at one point, choco was almost lost in the crowd.

But we fought through until we were both at the edge. I have to say, our spot was amazing. It was on the side of all the media and almost all the celebs that made their way here stopped and gave us a chance to stare at them from so close. We didn't know everyone, but we made contact and waved, in which they waved back.

Highlight of the whole day would have to be simple plan <3. They waved back at us 2 times we got some pretty epic footage as well. Made us feel like little fan girls all over again. Still can't believe how you can get so many beautiful people at one place with their glamorous outfits, gorgeous hair and baby bum clear skin. This was definitely a night to remember. We were so reluctant to leave, but we did. Went to pho and tried called up JS and AM, but failed miserably. Other than that, we had an amazing time. MMVA, see you next year!

Distant | June 22nd

It's about time again, where things go back to how it's suppose to be; this is so called "reality". First time it happens I'd call it stupid, second time I'd say it's pathetic, but when it happens over and over again like it's on repeat then I guess that's just... life. I'm only human, I have better things to deal with than to care about all the pointless worries and meaningless statements that the each and one of you have out there. I can totally start swearing and it'd go on for hours, but this time let's leave it as it is and just take a step back.

Hectic | June 19th

Since the last blog, so much has happened. Many items are accomplished and disappointing things are becoming... less disappointing. This weekend was amazing, I have to admit. Friday, aka, last day of high school ever! It was also the day of the carnival with free ice cream and cotton candy left and right. DN paid a visit and we had fun doing everything but sign his yearbook. Not to mention epic comments as well. After school, we decided to pay a visit to the baseball diamond; something we haven't done in ages. There was cake, catch, baseball, yearbooks, sun and cartwheels going on all over the place. Then came dance rehearsals that felt forever. Texting to save the day..

Saturday! Booked NYC trip!! Uber excited. Met LHY on the bus; funny moments. Dance, McDonald's GREY's facebook that I didn't even hesitate to add. : ) Maybe a Bruce reunion?!

Sunday! Dance recital & mother fucking MMVA! 2011.. How on earth do you get so many beautiful people at the same place. Fell in love with everyone's gorgeousness. Especially Simple Plan! Proper post will have to be made! These past few days have been so hectic, but as soon as exams are over, pictures, videos and lovely words will be posted.

Xavier | June 14th

Sometimes people are in need of a change of a few familiar faces to make life more exciting. And so here is how our second hangout with the "asian group" came to be. Tuesday is a funny day of the week and we totally took full advantage of it as broke students.


In the morning, we went to Shoppers to get my passport photo taken. Because I'm a really forgetful and lazy being, I didn't realize that I had to renew it till last minute; what a genius. Anyways, I'd like to thank merre and A.Gupta for being my references for my passport application; such amazing friends I have! 

At least this is better than my last photo....

Next thing you know, we were at Fairview digging our teeth into Toonie Tuesday KFC. Fat, but totally worth it. Then it was time for movies with R.Wang, J.Zhou, and D.Gu! Can't possibly explain how Asian we feel when we're around them... not to mention that their English is just hilarious. We watched X-Men; First Class together, and since we had extra time we went to the arcade and hobo-ed there. You know someone's crazy when they buy 5 big cups of ice-tea and 2 bags of popcorn! But then again, I haven't had popcorn and a drink watching a movie for the longest time. It's the perfect match and I miss it. The movie itself turned out great, would've never expected to be this concentrated in it. Felt like everything made sense, it's a weird and accelerating feeling.

After the movie we chilled in the food court and saw J.Kan and K.So; they happened to sit in the same row as us during the movies and didn't even bother to wave. Anyways, we spent time signing yearbooks and such. Our next drinking date will be happening next week, that sure is something to look forward to....

Restart | June 13th

It's time to get serious and start blogging again; we've been lagging for the past months... Finally into the month of June and things are getting back on track now that prom is over. A change of scenery is desperately needed. Approximately 1 more week of school and we're finally out! Can't possibly explain how exciting and relieved we are, after the bad news, betrayal, hatred, and all that bull. 


We have a long list of "to-do" items that we want to accomplish once exams finish and harsh uni life begins! This includes MMVA, fireworks, NYC!, singk's & movies, NIU!, wonderland, CNE, PARTIES, hair & piercings, etc etc. Let's restart and begin our new adventures before we are forced to grow up further and then thrown into the unfamiliarity of next year. Cheers to the most unforgettable & painstaking senior year.
