Barbecue | July 18th

Due to the lack of planning, we lost interest in the event as the day came closer and closer; yes it was R.Wang's bbq! Well... I guess we underestimated this day... Started off the day meeting with H.Chen at Don Mills station. We then saw S.Truong and T.Truong on the YRT bus. R.Wang& J.Ing-Chen gave us all a warm welcoming by bringing along her dog, Didi.

Our chef of the day, miss wang prepared a lot of food for us; salad, steak, ribs, wings, corn, lamb, mushrooms, cheese cake, etc etc. Unfortunately, merre and I were unable to try out all of that... Anyways, as predicted, the group had some video gaming session... which we were totally out of it no matter how much we tried to stare at the tv. Some late comers, L.Lau, D.Ngai, E.Mei., and A.Man joined us afterwards. EM and AM also brought along some kiwi mango and goose.

The only picture of the day
Although we were excited for the vex, we got a little carried away with the goose. Who would've thought that a much of kids like us would be found on her front porch taking random shots one after the other. As well, cigarettes came out. Not really a pretty sight. However, this was nothing compared to what else went on that night. The truth was, we couldn't really describe every moment of that BBQ because it seemed as though we both lost some precious hours of that night in which we didn't remember anything. I guess that was the consequence for taking all those shots within such a short time frame.

Most of what happened that day, we heard stories from everyone else, so whatever we're writing might or might not even be what actually happened. Some things we heard included, passing out everywhere, puking several times, crying, hugging, clinging, more and more. We also missed out on a lot of fun, cheesecake...

But thankfully, H. Chen was also pretty dead that day, so at least some attention was diverted away from us. We heard he was given a cigarette, puked on the front lawn and also drank on the other side of the street all by himself.

When it got late, people began to arrange ways to get home. Another reason was probably because her parents were home and we didn't think that it was right for her parents to see a bunch of drunken kids. The rides were divided with D. Ngai's car: choco, A. Man, T. Truong & S. Truong and J. Ing-Chen's car: merre, H. Chen & E. Mei. Mixed from both of the sides included shifting barf bags, barfing, unseat-belted people, loosing cellphones, holding hands, (ex)girlfriends, not wanting to go home, shoulder leaning, random walks, more and more.

We must say, we had a blast... and hopefully, we'll actually be able to remember most of it during future alc events. Till we meet again, goose.
