Post-Rotting | Aug 5th

After staying home resting for countless days rotting, it was finally time to go out and have some fun again! Originally, we, choco, merre, H.Chen, D.Ngai, and R.Wang planned to have lunch together at ICook Buffet since they have this amazing lunch deal of $7.95 per person! But unfortunately, when we arrived, they said their having construction there so we had to relocate elsewhere. We then made our way to 小肥羊 (cafe yang?) and had hotpot there. $9.99 for two meat platters and everything else all you can eat... what more do you want? We also saw some people from our school there... though we didn't exactly greet each other. Because we were so damn satisfied with the food, we ended up being the last table to leave!

After the amazing lunch, we headed to Pacific Mall for some walking exercise. To be honest, p-mall doesn't interest me what-so-ever anymore compared to back in the years... I guess that's what happens when people grow up. Because we didn't really have anything to buy we ended up spending some time at the "arcade" upstairs. The place is like a kids land now... but there were still some 'fun' activities I guess, hence R.Wang ended up playing some of the things in there... like the gun shooting game and motorcycle racing thing; she luckily won first place in that actually. Our next stop was of course to get some bubble tea at Market Village, as always. From there, we played some cards, and did some chatting; it's nice to catch up on each others' life once in a while. 

Without any planning prepared, merre and I ended up going drinking at A.Man's condo along with E.Mei and a few others. There was nothing in there except a bed, like literally nothing. Before the actually drinking, we went to get dinner at a Korean restaurant nearby, the food was alright, nothing fancy.

After filling our stomachs up with some food, the drinking began. It was the usual beer, vodka, and this time there was some cappuccino vodka this time, I guess that made it a bit more tasty than usual? It was the first time drinking with these people... some were nice and some... were just unwelcoming. Of course, we had to play some games to pass time; there comes kings, bus, and 15 20! We played in teams and it was quite entertaining... merre and I ended up missing our subway when we totally arrived before it actually "closed" which was pretty bullshit. Anyways, overall it turned out to be better than we expected; not bad.
